Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Min. 6 years of professional experience in sales or product management, ideally within non-automotive sectors such as Off-Highway, Commercial Vehicles, or Industrial market segments
  • Proven track record in developing and managing customer relationships, with a focus on long-term growth and partnership building
  • Min. 3 years of experience in automotive (Tier 1) environments, preferably with electronic systems or battery technology sales
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, combined with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent customer management capabilities with a strong focus on solution-oriented collaboration and customer development
  • Fluency in English and German, both spoken and written; additional languages are a plus
  • High willingness to travel (up to 30%) and thrive in an international business environment
  • Self-driven

Responsibilities

  • Driving new business development by identifying, pursuing, and acquiring customers in non-automotive sectors (OE & OES) with strong growth potential, in close collaboration with Business Development and Engineering teams
  • Managing and expanding relationships with existing non-automotive clients across technical and commercial functions, ensuring long-term satisfaction and repeat business
  • Developing and executing strategic sales and action plans aligned with business goals and market dynamics, while owning all commercial KPIs and leading negotiations for assigned OEM & OES customers
  • Applying deep technical sales expertise in battery technologies and systems to consult customers and deliver tailored solutions across Off-Highway, Industrial, Powersports, and Leisure market segments
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to generate actionable insights that shape product and sales strategies
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, and Business Development to align customer requirements with product capabilities and innovation roadmaps
  • Delivering accurate sales forecasts and regular performance reports to management, supporting informed decision-making and strategic planning
  • Leading commercial negotiations to ensure profitable, sustainable, and long-term business agreements
  • Prioritizing sales efforts based on customer potential, market segment dynamics, and overall strategic fit
  • Representing Clarios at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to strengthen brand visibility, foster relationships, and generate new business opportunities
