Requirements

Candidates should have extensive sales engineering or solution architect experience in a SaaS environment or relevant industry experience, particularly in analytics, data science, or data engineering. Extensive experience in the Pharma and Life Sciences industry is required, along with a proven track record of delivering technical wins and building strong customer relationships. Outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences are essential, as well as an understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology. Hands-on experience with SQL and the ability to solve customer-specific business problems using Snowflake's solutions are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Sales Engineer will present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers. They will work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demos to proof of concept to design and implementation. The role involves creating and developing technical champions in accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins. The Sales Engineer will stay updated on industry trends and competitive technologies, collaborate with sales engineers, and work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and marketing efforts. Additionally, they will represent Snowflake at industry or customer events and collaborate with ecosystem and implementation partners on account strategies.
