Candidates should have extensive sales engineering or solution architect experience in a SaaS environment or relevant industry experience such as analytics, data science, or data engineering. A proven track record of delivering technical wins and building strong customer relationships is required. Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences are essential, along with an understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology. Hands-on experience with SQL and the ability to solve customer-specific business problems using Snowflake’s solutions are necessary.
The Senior Sales Engineer will work directly with the account sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs and strategize support for evaluations. They will present Snowflake’s technology to executives and technical contributors, demonstrate value throughout the sales cycle, and create technical champions within accounts. The role involves staying updated on competitive technologies, collaborating with other sales engineers, and working with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to enhance products. Additionally, the Senior Sales Engineer will represent Snowflake at industry events and collaborate with partners to build joint architectures.
