The Senior Records Retention Specialist is responsible for managing the company's Records Retention Program, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards. Key duties include maintaining the Global Retention Policy and country-specific schedules, developing standards for record creation, storage, retention, and destruction, and contributing to risk management and mitigation. The role involves developing and executing training programs, assisting global locations with compliance and process improvement, managing vendor relationships, and handling records requests. Responsibilities also include classifying, filing, auditing, tracking, and maintaining controlled documents, locating and retrieving records from warehouses, assessing document consistency, compiling data for reports, utilizing technology for recordkeeping, coordinating with IT for system integration, and working on continuous improvement projects, particularly for electronic records.
