The Senior Quality Engineer should have experience supporting and implementing improvement activities and projects, with a focus on Risk Management, Audit management, and continuous improvement. Experience in areas such as non-conformances, deviations, material control, product release, CAPA/complaint handling, investigations, and EQA is beneficial. The role requires active participation on Quality and cross-functional project teams, identification of product and process improvements, and facilitation of complaint evaluations. Monitoring and interpreting new and existing standards and regulations, and acting as a subject matter expert during audits and inspections are also key requirements. The position may involve maintaining local work instructions, SOPs, and training Quality Engineers and Associates, as well as providing management with status updates.
The Senior Quality Engineer will provide QA support to stakeholders across a range of Quality processes, including Risk Management, Audit management, and continuous improvement. They will identify product and process improvements to reduce complaints and cost of poor quality, and provide recommendations for improvements based on analysis of quality review inputs. The role involves facilitating the evaluation of complaints, including assessment, investigation, containment, review, approval, and determination of on-going needs. Additionally, the Senior Quality Engineer will monitor and interpret new and existing standards and regulations, implement solutions to maintain compliance, and participate as the subject matter expert during audits and/or inspections. They will promote global awareness, provide training on policies and procedures, and may be responsible for maintaining local work instructions, SOPs, and training junior quality personnel.
