Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance/testing. They should have in-depth knowledge of testing methodologies and processes, experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or equivalent, strong programming skills in languages like Java, C#, or Python, solid experience with SQL and the ability to analyze data, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

The Senior Quality Control Engineer will conduct various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for software applications, identify and document defects clearly and precisely using tracking tools like JIRA, design, implement, and maintain automated testing scripts to enhance testing efficiency, work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software, develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test plans, produce testing reports and present findings to stakeholders, maintain documentation for testing processes, procedures, and results, provide guidance and support to junior QC engineers, participate in retrospectives and other efforts to improve testing practices and team processes, identify root causes of quality issues and propose preventive actions, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and performance testing as required.
