Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, construction management, or related field
10+ years of rail and transit experience working as part of a project team (highly desired)
Experience working for or with an Owner’s Project Manager or the MBTA (highly desired)
Experience in public design and construction (strongly preferred)
Experience working on MGL c149A Projects, construction management at risk (CMAR) delivery (strongly desired)
Available to work full-time, Monday through Friday; occasional weekend work required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read and understand plans and specifications
Exceptional ability to remain organized and handle multiple action items simultaneously
Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, and e-Builder (strongly recommended)
Physically located in Eastern Massachusetts
Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; able to lift up to 15 pounds; extended hours in front of a computer screen
Cognitive: Problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form

Responsibilities

Overall project management and coordination of activities
Following up on action items
Attending meetings with the client and project stakeholders
Generating meeting minutes
Managing and assisting project staff (consultants and client personnel)
Visiting active construction sites
Developing and preparing progress reports and presentations
Performing other duties required to support the client and project(s)
Working closely with the existing PMA OPM team
