  • Experience building solutions that fit into multiple segments of the customer's software development lifecycle
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and enjoy helping others to be successful
  • Communicate proactively and clearly, and enjoy working in highly cross-functional, distributed product teams
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research and analytics skills
  • Familiar with agile software development practices, have a technical background or experience targeting the developer persona
  • Preferred
  • Prior software development experience
  • Domain expertise in cybersecurity or developer tools
  • Experience directing or developing IDE Plugins or Command-line Interfaces
  • Experience working with data and like getting hands-on to build prototypes
  • Experience with enterprise, government or regulated industries - bringing empathy for those users’ unique challenges
  • Familiarity with Application Security, DevSecOps, AST (SAST, SCA, IAST, DAST)

Responsibilities

  • Lead Snyk’s IDE and CLI experiences, setting their long-term strategy based on research of market trends, developer needs, and deep subject matter expertise
  • Demonstrate measurable positive impact from delivering complex initiatives
  • Refine and own relevant business cases based on business/revenue opportunities
  • Evaluate whether initiatives enable expansion with the current customer base and market segment and meet the needs of new market segments
  • Work closely with Engineering and Product peers to identify key opportunities to deliver an engaging local developer experience for Snyk’s customers
  • Design and define detailed specifications for technical and functional requirements
  • Define product metrics to measure success and make data-driven product decisions
  • Define and communicate a vision for the next generation of local development integrations
  • Collect & leverage customer feedback, user research and data to determine new areas of expansion
  • Present Snyk’s roadmap to strategic prospects & customers
  • Communicate your team's work internally and externally, including to executive leadership, customers, and market analysts
