Candidates should possess excellent UX skills demonstrated through developing elegant solutions to complex business problems, a track record of building up design maturity in tech-heavy organizations, and a strong grasp of frameworks and methodologies such as Jobs To Be Done, User Story/Value Stream/Impact Mapping or OOUX to translate between problem and solution space. Experience with real-world applications of LLMs, machine learning, and predictive analysis is desirable, though a strong interest and awareness of current possibilities is also valued.
As a Senior Product Designer, the individual will deeply understand how Zalando’s business operates to identify bottlenecks and growth opportunities, collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering teams to research and translate user needs for internal stakeholders, build delightful solutions focused on efficiency and productivity, explore and shape the use of AI and machine learning in B2E and B2B SaaS, and take ownership of generative and evaluative research with the backing of a User Research team. They will also navigate the complexity of cross-functional teamwork through strong communication and stakeholder management.
