Senior Product Designer

Position Overview

Apollo.io is seeking a talented Senior Product Designer to join our team and help shape the future of our CRM product. We are looking for a strong systems thinker capable of navigating complex SaaS product intricacies and delivering user-centric solutions. Product Designers at Apollo.io play a crucial role in learning, testing, and iterating to build exceptional user experiences. We value designers who think deeply, communicate clearly, embrace collaboration and feedback, and are committed to continuous learning.

You will be part of a Squad, working alongside a Product Manager and multiple Engineers. Regular collaboration with designers from other pods is expected to ensure a cohesive user experience across the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product Manager on your squad to brainstorm, build, and validate solutions for complex user problems.
  • Partner with Engineers on your squad to understand technical constraints, hand off designs, and conduct design QA for enterprise-level features.
  • Map complex user workflows and system interactions to create clear, scalable solutions within our CRM product.
  • Participate in Weekly Sprint Planning & Daily Standups with your squad.
  • Provide feedback, share learnings, and maintain a cohesive end-to-end experience by collaborating with other Designers.
  • Conduct interviews with enterprise users to validate designs and understand their specific problems and goals.
  • Utilize and contribute to our design system to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Consistently integrate quantitative and qualitative data into essential product decisions.
  • Collaborate with your squad to identify high-impact areas, develop hypotheses, test, and iterate.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing and shipping complex, enterprise-level SaaS products.
  • Experience in CRM, sales-tech, or related B2B domains is a strong plus.
  • Systems Thinking: Ability to deconstruct complex problems, understand system interconnections, and design scalable, maintainable, and coherent solutions.
  • Design Instincts & Best Practices: Strong ability to translate user problems, business objectives, and technical constraints into excellent product experiences.
  • Self-Starter: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Figma Proficiency: Experience creating and maintaining components across multiple product surfaces in Figma.
  • Continuous Learner: Eager to improve customer experience and drive core metrics; stays updated with modern design tools.
  • Experimentation-Oriented: Experience conducting user interviews, analyzing results, forming hypotheses, testing with prototypes or product experiments, and iterating.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Possesses no ego, respects cross-functional partners, and shares a common understanding of team goals.
