Requirements

Candidates should have 8+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record in 0→1 product development, concept exploration, and early-stage product design. Experience launching complex systems or foundational platform features, especially related to identity, access management, policies, permissions, or account models, is required. Experience in or adjacent to cybersecurity or identity is a strong asset. A portfolio showcasing systems thinking, user flows, and interaction design, ideally with first-time product launches or concept-to-release cycles, is necessary. Strong collaboration skills and comfort with cross-functional alignment, particularly in technical or infrastructure-heavy product areas, are essential. Familiarity with design systems, with the ability to explore and define new patterns, is expected. Proven success in mentoring peers, leading through influence, and maintaining a growth mindset is also required.

Responsibilities

The Staff Product Designer will shape the future of product experiences in the extended access management space. They will define and champion UX vision and strategy for their area of ownership, partnering with product and engineering leaders to set direction. This role involves tackling complex, ambiguous problems, framing challenges, setting priorities, and using evidence-based insights to drive design decisions. The designer will mentor and coach other designers, elevate the team's craft, and influence the roadmap at the highest levels of the organization. Their work will be guided by an understanding of security principles to ensure clear, approachable, and trustworthy user experiences.
