Requirements

Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in UX/Product/Interaction Design, a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality visual and interaction design across complex digital experiences, and expertise in Figma and interactive prototyping. Experience designing within agile teams and across platforms, skill in user research, usability testing, and translating insights into design are required. Familiarity with performance metrics, design constraints, and experience designing for AI-powered interfaces, personalization engines, or data-driven user experiences are also necessary. A degree or certification in UX, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred, as is experience designing for senior adults and inclusive, accessible interfaces. Familiarity with healthcare or insurance, comfort in dynamic, fast-paced environments, and strong analytical skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

The Lead Product Designer will lead UX efforts to create intuitive, high-impact digital experiences for Humana members, translating consumer insights into actionable design strategies and solutions. They will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design partners, using storytelling, user journeys, and prototypes to communicate complex concepts and advocate for user needs. Responsibilities include creating strategic design artifacts, facilitating workshops, ensuring adherence to digital design standards, accessibility guidelines, and usability best practices, and driving excellence in visual and interaction design. The role also involves maintaining consistency in design patterns, contributing to design systems, and designing for intelligent, personalized experiences powered by AI and data-driven technologies.
