Jellyfish is seeking a talented Senior Product Designer to craft world-class experiences for its largest customers. The role focuses on developing robust administration tools, user management, and platform configuration, with an emphasis on defining the overarching platform vision and translating complex requirements into intuitive, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Help build, deliver, and refine clear strategy and storytelling around platform needs and opportunities.
  • Play a major role in product decision-making, working directly with customers and leadership.
  • Rally and inspire the team to deliver high-standard experiences.
  • Analyze and document enterprise-tier customer needs through quantitative data analysis, building relationships with customer support, and conducting user interviews with engineering leaders.
  • Develop generalizable solutions that address complex enterprise customer structures while maintaining usability and customer ownership.
  • Lead collaboration efforts with other product teams on platform-wide initiatives.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with Support and Sales Engineering teams to solve and prevent customer problems.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a product-focused digital designer.
  • Experience with platform-level system thinking, designing for complex interconnected systems and their dependencies.
  • Strong eye for high-quality visual and interaction design, with attention to UI details.
  • Experience working directly with customers for design decision-making through research, testing, and conversation.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and insights.
  • Proficiency in prototyping to articulate nuanced design decisions.
  • Experience handling comprehensive projects with overlapping organizational lines.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and decisions to various stakeholders.
  • Enthusiasm for simplifying complexity and bringing elegance to everyday user tasks.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with software engineering processes and practices.
  • Experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment, especially enterprise-focused products.
  • A generative spirit and excitement for creating novel, simple solutions.
  • Good understanding of backend infrastructure and/or experience working in-depth with backend engineers.
