Headway: Senior Partner Success Associate, Care Partnerships

Position Overview

Headway's mission is to build a new mental health care system that everyone can access. We have developed technology that helps people find excellent therapists through a software-enabled national network of providers who accept insurance.

Currently, 1 in 4 people in the US experience a treatable mental health condition. However, the majority of providers do not accept insurance, making therapy prohibitively expensive for most individuals. Headway is creating a new mental healthcare system that is accessible to all by simplifying the process for therapists to accept insurance and scale their practices.

Founded in 2019, Headway has grown into a diverse, national network of over 45,000 mental healthcare providers across all 50 states. Our software supports these providers, and we have served over 1 million patients. We are a Series D company with over $325 million in funding from prominent investors including a16z (Andreessen Horowitz), Accel, GV (formerly Google Ventures), Spark Capital, Thrive Capital, Forerunner Ventures, and Health Care Service Corporation.

We are looking for individuals who want their time here to be the most meaningful experience of their career. Join us and help us improve mental healthcare.

About The Role

Headway is expanding its care partnerships across the US and is seeking a Senior Partner Success Associate, Care Partnerships. This role will support our growing number of partners who entrust Headway to connect their patients with our high-quality behavioral health network.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Strategy, Product, Operations) to ensure our care partners remain engaged with Headway. • Collaborate with cross-functional internal stakeholders to deliver insights that inform product and operations strategy.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in the healthcare space, preferably in Customer Success or strategic customer-facing roles.
  • Deep understanding of health system or provider group models and economics.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and foster meaningful connections across all organizational levels.
  • Comfort with ambiguity; actively seek opportunities to tackle unfamiliar challenges, drive towards outcomes, and shape strategy.
  • Excellent operational skills; ability to manage multiple high-impact customers and a large volume of moving parts efficiently.
  • Desire for an environment that fosters individual growth through open feedback and high autonomy.
  • Motivated by the opportunity to address a significant societal challenge: access to mental healthcare.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Expected Base Pay Range: $84,320 - $124,000 annually, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
  • Variable Compensation: This role may be eligible for performance-based variable compensation.
  • Equity: This role may be eligible for an equity grant, depending on the position and level.
  • Total Rewards Package: We are committed to offering a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package, including robust health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, and meaningful ownership opportunities through equity.
