Requirements

Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, potentially combined with project management experience
Knowledge of instrument development
Understanding of verification testing
Understanding of systems engineering, including requirement-driven development

Responsibilities

Drive Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects, with special focus on mechanical design activities of parts, sub-assemblies, and at instrument level, through collaboration with external industry-leading partners, internal project teams, and stakeholders
Ensure solid mechanical design in own projects as well as colleagues' projects
Collaborate and ensure seamless collaboration with external partners, suppliers, test houses, as well as internal stakeholders to ensure mechanical design activities are delivered on time, matching the high level of quality required for precision diagnostics in the medical device industry
Define and continuously improve processes, with special focus on mechanical design procedures and tools, utilizing the Danaher Business System (LEAN Tools) for efficient and superior quality and Product Lifecycle Management of parts and sub-systems
Drive compliance, product quality, and reliability through documentation, change control, and transfer to manufacturing to ensure industry-leading precision diagnostics
