Position Overview
The Senior Marketing Manager – Dairy Wellness is responsible for developing and evolving the Dairy Wellness brand at Zoetis with an extra emphasis on tying value added services into this platform. The Senior Marketing Manager will be accountable for developing an annual operating plan (including quarterly targets) for dairy anti-infectives, biologicals (vaccines) and value-added services. He/she will be accountable for achieving the quarterly and yearly operating plan targets for the US Dairy Wellness portfolio which includes assisting in the development of and execution against key strategic initiatives. The Senior Manager will maintain a high level of interaction with relevant Zoetis functional areas such as Technical Services, Sales, Finance, and Marketing Agencies to ensure strategy and tactics were included into the comprehensive approach of the Dairy Wellness platform. In this position he/she will be responsible for managing the A&P assigned budget, ensuring proper resource allocation, and leading the development of content by working closely with Marketing Communications/Coordinators.
Position Responsibilities
- Establish, oversee and implement Dairy Wellness marketing strategies programs to support the short, middle and long-term growth of the Zoetis Dairy Portfolio.
- Provide clear direction to and actively engage with cross functional teams to build and maintain a robust product and services pipeline that ensures a solid competitive advantage and meets Dairy Customer needs.
- Rigorously monitor and gather key customer insights, competitive activities and market insights to incorporate into effective marketing strategies.
- Responsible to lead, develop and execute product launches.
- Ensures key stakeholder alignment, resource allocation, accurate forecasts and clear KPIs for marketing metric reports.
- Accountable for Op Plan input and follow up from the financial and strategic perspective.
- Responsible for the anti-infective and biologicals forecasting; working with manufacturing teams on accurately forecasting on monthly and annual demand planning bases and ensuring consistent product supply.
- Work with the Marketing Communications Managers and Agencies to deliver proper communication content and marketing materials with a focus on digital.
- Maintain responsibility for A&P assigned budget management.
- Accountable for meeting quarterly and annual A&P budget targets, the timely development of quality marketing activation plans and timely delivery of high quality, cost effective promotional tools and materials for distribution to field sales representatives.
- Manage and maintain ongoing relationship with the Dairy Industry relevant institutions to ensure Zoetis representation and that key customer insights are incorporated into effective marketing strategies.
- Oversee marketing agency deliverables, as well as other external suppliers, to ensure partner capabilities and effectiveness meet the team’s needs ensuring work and resources are deployed appropriately.
- Actively identifies synergies and efficiencies across Cattle & Equine franchise teams and other business units and provides a unique One Zoetis view that helps identify new opportunities, challenges and innovations as they relate to keep Zoetis in a leadership position in the market.

Education and Experience
- BS or BA required (communications or business).
- MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of related commercial, marketing or dairy Industry relationship experience required.
- Animal health, pharmaceutical and/or agricultural experience preferred.
