Requirements

  • Master's in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar field
  • At least 7 years industry experience preferably in Payments, Financial Services, or similar space
  • Expertise in Digital Payments and Fintech space with prior experience building or owning end-to-end solutions strongly preferred
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and prior experience working with Product and Technology teams; experience leading teams/people management preferable
  • Deep quantitative and qualitative abilities, and a track record of applying these to effective and successful business decisions

Responsibilities

  • Lead payment, billing and invoicing strategy and associated initiatives to enable new Seller services and monetization of existing services on Marketplace platform
  • Manage and spearhead advancements in billing strategy and payment mechanisms, including ACH, credit card, and innovative solutions for international segments
  • Create and execute a detailed roadmap of associated Billing solutions/tools and optimize the Recovery ladder in collaboration with product, technology, and operations teams
  • Partner closely with Business teams to customize payment solutions according to program needs, while reducing associated payment costs and bad debt
  • Build appropriate risk verification processes with monetization tools and leverage financial instruments to improve platform trust and reduce risk for participating programs
  • Enable efficiency by identifying and partnering with right third-party solutions, including those catering to seller needs for financing or flexible payments
  • Work closely with internal legal & compliance teams to ensure appropriate agreement and contractual frameworks balancing experience as well as legal/regulatory risks
  • Create quantitative measurements to track success of programs and prepare cost-benefit analysis to get finance and leadership approvals
  • Ensure close collaboration with Account management, Seller Services, Marketing, and Operations to drive acceptance of new products and services with Sellers, building key measurements and a test/iterate philosophy to improve results
