The Special Operations Team plays a crucial role in driving operational improvements across the organization, supporting new initiatives, and enhancing overall performance. This team operates at the intersection of Business Operations, Special Projects, Product, and Legal Operations.

Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in an operational leadership position.
  • Industry Preference: Experience within a fast-growing, collaborative environment or in the legal or technology sectors is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Proven success in developing and executing plans that improve operational metrics and drive business growth.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading teams to achieve high levels of performance and efficiency.
    • Strong experience in managing operational, production-based workflows and teams (e.g., BPO management, vendor management, offshoring).
    • Significant experience building, optimizing, and implementing related processes, protocols, resources, and performance management frameworks.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Scope and manage projects from start to finish, driving improvements across Business Operations, Product, Special Projects, and Legal Operations teams.
  • Operational Improvement: Achieve operational goals for efficiency, quality, and cost.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Develop, optimize, and maintain operational excellence metrics, reporting, and dashboarding.
  • Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence in execution.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Product, Legal Operations, Engineering, and Data teams to identify and capitalize on optimization opportunities.
  • Process Documentation: Create and maintain playbooks, SOPs, feedback loops, training resources, detailed knowledge bases, and similar materials to establish sustainable, scalable production routines.
