Nutrafol - Senior Manager, Retail Education and Events
Position Overview

The Senior Manager, Retail Education and Events is a visionary leader responsible for developing and executing Nutrafol’s national retail programs and initiatives. This role will create and implement a comprehensive 360 retail omni-education strategy to drive product portfolio and brand growth.
About You
- Experience: 8-10 years of extensive experience in developing successful retail education and event programs.
- Industry Expertise: Must have extensive experience in hair, wellness, or skincare, with a deep understanding of an open-sell, multi-branded environment.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to meet and exceed annual sales plans against key commercial objectives.
- Team Collaboration: Experience successfully working with a field team and building/maintaining strong retailer relationships.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to work closely with the Vice President, Retail and Director, Retail Sales, along with key cross-functional partners to deliver impactful and innovative education experiences.
Responsibilities
- Retail Education Strategy:
- Design and facilitate brand education materials, emphasizing elevated consumer experiences and brand loyalty.
- Integrate education initiatives across various channels (in-person workshops, digital platforms, social media) for a consistent learning experience and seamless consumer journey.
- Develop education and event strategies to improve all Retail initiatives, anticipating business needs and cross-functional team timelines.
- Event Management:
- Oversee and facilitate sourcing and execution of TOA's (Trade Off Agreements) and event collaterals.
- Manage budgets and financial tracking for all events and education spend.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication:
- Serve as the Retail education voice through partnerships with Sales, Marketing, and internal Education teams on key launches and initiatives to define product positioning and selling strategies.
- Communicate market activity and competitive intelligence through active engagement with VP of Retail, Director of Retail Sales, Education, and key opinion leaders to identify customer needs and territory growth opportunities.
- Industry Trends & Innovation:
- Stay current on beauty industry education trends and activations, continuously seeking innovative approaches for education, sales development, and events.
- Facilitation & Program Design:
- Build innovative training materials and resources (manuals, virtual courses) that are clear, concise, and visually appealing to drive growth in the hair and wellness category.
- Act as an experienced facilitator capable of executing engaging virtual and live format seminars covering Nutrafol’s brand story, product knowledge, sales and service techniques, omni-education activations, and competitive insights and trends.
- Collaborate cross-functionally as required.
- Training and Sales Development:
- Develop and deliver brand and product knowledge onboarding.
