The Senior Manager, IT Systems Engineering requires 10+ years of experience in IT systems engineering, infrastructure, or platform operations, along with 5+ years leading technical teams including direct people management. Candidates must possess a proven track record of delivering infrastructure at scale across global, hybrid, or remote organizations, and demonstrate deep knowledge of identity, endpoint lifecycle, automation, network, and SaaS management. Experience building and managing teams in high-compliance environments (SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST) is also required, alongside strong communication and leadership presence with the ability to influence across stakeholders and executives. Furthermore, the ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally is necessary.
This role involves leading and scaling a high-performing team of IT engineers globally, managing and developing them, and fostering a culture of inclusion, excellence, and technical curiosity. The Senior Manager will lead the strategy to elevate DevOps maturity and implement scalable platform automation for operational excellence. Key responsibilities include delivering strategic infrastructure programs such as IAM, Lifecycle Management, and SASE deployment, ensuring delivery meets standards for resilience, security, automation, and compliance. Collaboration with IT, Security, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering is crucial, along with driving readiness for audits, certifications, and security controls. The position also entails managing vendor performance and infrastructure contracts, and advancing operational maturity by defining and tracking metrics for platform health, automation ROI, and service readiness, while continuously improving internal standards, documentation, and processes.
