Candidates should possess 4-6 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on platforms for analytics, data science, and AI. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala are required, along with experience with AI-specific infrastructure like TensorFlow Serving, Feast, and MLflow. Knowledge of data architectures including data lakes, warehouses, and real-time processing systems is also necessary, as is familiarity with cloud-based data and AI platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch. Understanding of distributed computing technologies like Spark and Kubernetes is beneficial, as is experience with MLOps/LLMOps practices and tools.
The Senior Software Engineer for AI and Data Technologies will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, secure, and high-performance AI and data platforms to support analytics, data science, and machine learning initiatives, collaborating with analytics, data science, and machine learning teams to implement solutions and support data-driven decision-making. They will also evaluate, integrate, and optimize modern tools and technologies to enhance platform performance, and follow best practices for software engineering, including coding standards and automated CI/CD pipelines. Furthermore, the role involves acting as a technical contributor to advanced data platform designs, mentoring team members, and partnering with stakeholders to build and enhance enterprise-grade data and AI infrastructure, supporting advanced analytics and evolving Omada’s data ecosystem.
