Responsibilities

  • Domain leadership:
  • Support the IT/Digital strategy by driving development of realistic and actionable multi-year strategic digital capability roadmaps, informed and prioritized by business and IT in an enterprise context
  • Prioritize the portfolio appropriately and support portfolio budget management
  • Lead prioritization and development of strong, clear business cases for digital capability investments supporting the roadmap and aligned with platform strategy
  • Define, measure, and achieve business outcomes for highest value (lowest cost) digital capabilities
  • Support design of specific solutions to business problems, including designing, describing, and managing appropriate solutions for risks and opportunities
  • Actively maintain awareness of external drivers in the business domain and relevant technology trends, bringing innovative ideas
  • Strategic leadership:
  • Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, being viewed as an effective partner who plans and delivers digital capabilities, safeguards digital assets, and supports strategic goals
  • Be recognized as a thought leader and trusted advisor, influencing strategic thinking of business leaders and helping include future digital capabilities in their planning
  • Own the relationship by maintaining effective working relationships with all relevant business teams, being involved in key business activities and forums, building and managing partnerships at all levels during project execution, and taking accountability for delivering IT value proposition
  • Drive change by ensuring effective planning, execution, and communication of business change management to support digital capability investments, including business process changes for maximum value
