Requirements

  • 6+ years of sales, business development, business consulting and/or account management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
  • Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management
  • Excellent communicator capable of handling high-profile clients
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility over time
  • Strong relationship management skills with stakeholders of varying seniority levels
  • Bilingual Mandarin and English ability

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive significant wallet-share growth and proactively defend against attrition within our most strategic existing clients
  • Champion the adoption and commercialization of Guidepoint’s new products and solutions, positioning them as critical answers to evolving client needs
  • Translate data into actionable growth strategies by monitoring client usage and engagement metrics to identify risks, uncover opportunities, and guide a consultative outreach approach
  • Own the full commercial relationship within your accounts, leading efforts from prospecting and new client activation through contract negotiation, onboarding, and successful renewal
  • Ensure seamless client delivery by partnering closely with the Client Service team, facilitating smooth handoffs, and gathering feedback to continuously elevate the client experience
  • Act as a force multiplier for the team by mentoring junior commercial staff, sharing best practices, and contributing to the development of scalable processes and playbooks
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and raise team performance standards, playing a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the commercial function
