Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (MBA is a plus)
  • Minimum 10 years of proven sales and relationship management experience with expertise in payments/financial services industry
  • Strong sales and business development skills backed by sales-driven performance record and milestones
  • Observable analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated intellectual and critical thinking
  • Highly proactive and exceptionally driven to exceed set business targets
  • Natural curiosity to learn about new products and systems, ability to quickly grasp new concepts, and explain key benefits to clients and internal stakeholders
  • High energy, motivated team player able to effectively work across functions and teams to drive projects and key initiatives to completion

Responsibilities

  • Provide business leadership to Visa’s clients and partners through relationship management and sales disciplines
  • Partner with financial and non-financial institutions to develop and implement products and strategies that increase payment volume and revenues for Visa and its clients
  • Deliver client satisfaction
  • Grow critical new payment areas, including eCommerce and merchant acceptance
  • Expand client base through new issuance or acceptance solutions
  • Champion and lead digital innovation by introducing and leading technical conversations with clients
  • Work closely with cross-functional marketing and product experts to establish new product penetration and expand existing products within current and new accounts
  • Develop and ensure the implementation of team, country, and regional goals
  • Build relationships with influencers and decision makers of key clients to influence their preference for Visa
  • Identify new business development/product opportunities at the group level, then champion, develop, and prioritize proposals and client engagement strategies
  • Develop team business development strategies and map these into individual member plans
  • Manage client’s financial performance and ensure alignment with regional budget process
