Requirements

Candidates must possess a Swedish Law Degree, preferably at the masters level, with a specialization in Intellectual Property Law, Economic Law, or Business Law. Strong project management skills, excellent presentation skills in both formal and informal settings, and excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Swedish are required. Furthermore, candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualified experience, significant experience working in-house with sales teams and closing SaaS contracts, and up-to-date knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

As Senior Legal Counsel for the Nordics, the role involves providing broad legal advice and assistance to the business in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark, negotiating, drafting, and reviewing a wide range of commercial SaaS software agreements, service and support agreements, government tenders, NDA’s, LOI’s, and similar documents. The position also entails assisting the Unit4 Nordics operations with day-to-day legal advice on corporate, HR, and finance matters, working collaboratively with colleagues in the legal department, enhancing legal awareness within the business by providing training and advising management on relevant legal developments, and working as part of a growing legal team.
