Requirements

Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in Colorado, possessing 5-8+ years of legal experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology company. Strong knowledge of contract law and data privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA, is required, along with experience working with CLM software such as Ironclad.

Responsibilities

The Corporate Counsel will lead contract negotiations for the company’s SaaS business, including commercial software contracts, vendor agreements, and strategic partnerships. They will draft and review agreements, ensuring they align with business goals and risk mitigation strategies, while collaborating closely with sales, procurement, finance, and product teams. The role also involves identifying and mitigating potential risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting dispute resolution and enforcement of contractual obligations, as well as optimizing contract processes.
