Candidates should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. state, with experience in commercial law and SaaS transactions preferred. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to legal challenges are essential, along with familiarity with intellectual property, data privacy, and international legal matters.
The Corporate Counsel will provide proactive, strategic, and practical legal advice across all aspects of the business, including commercial contracting, corporate governance, M&A, and compliance. They will own and manage the full lifecycle of customer-facing SaaS contracts, develop scalable contracting frameworks, support M&A activity, collaborate with revenue leaders on deal negotiations, oversee legal aspects of equity compensation, manage outside counsel relationships, and champion a tech-forward legal approach to improve efficiency and competitive advantage.
