Requirements

Candidates should possess 8–15 years of legal experience, with substantial focus on commercial contracts and SaaS/software industry, demonstrated experience as in-house counsel or at a law firm supporting high-growth technology companies, active bar admission in at least one U.S. state, and deep familiarity with B2B SaaS commercial transactions and privacy/data security frameworks.

Responsibilities

As the Director of Legal, you will lead the negotiation, drafting, and review of all commercial agreements, including SaaS, vendor, and strategic partnerships, advise cross-functional teams on legal, compliance, and risk issues relating to contracts and commercial operations, support corporate governance, maintaining organizational records, cap table, and supporting board matters, develop and implement policies and trainings around contract management, data privacy, and regulatory compliance, manage relationships with outside counsel for specialized needs, and monitor and interpret changes in relevant laws affecting Doppel’s business, proactively adapting company policies.
