Requirements
- Expertise in IT systems administration for macOS, Windows, and Linux endpoints and lab/edge systems (user provisioning, hardening, policies, imaging)
- Proficiency in managing networking services (e.g., DNS/DHCP, file shares, VPN, Wi-Fi, VLANs, RBAC)
- Experience with identity and access management, device management, and endpoint security (e.g., MDM, SSO, EDR)
- Hands-on skills in procuring, racking/stacking, imaging, and configuring PCs, servers, peripherals, and networking equipment
- Ability to diagnose hardware and system issues, coordinate warranty/RMA, and perform component-level swaps
- Strong vendor management skills, including negotiating quotes and coordinating onsite work
- Capability to manage service desk queues (SLAs, triage, escalation) and produce user-facing guides
- Experience tracking inventory, licenses, and asset lifecycles (procurement to decommissioning)
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of laptops, workstations, servers, networking gear, and SaaS systems across office and lab environments
- Maintain identity and access management, device management, and endpoint security baselines
- Procure, rack/stack, image, and configure PCs, servers, peripherals, and networking equipment
- Set up conference rooms, lab benches, cameras/sensors, and demo environments as needed
- Diagnose hardware and system issues; coordinate warranty/RMA and perform component-level swaps
- Administer macOS/Windows/Linux endpoints and lab/edge systems
- Manage networking services (e.g., DNS/DHCP, file shares, VPN, Wi-Fi, VLANs, RBAC)
- Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and architecture/asset documentation
- Provide empathetic, high-signal support for employees (in-person and remote) across devices, apps, and access
- Manage the service desk queue (SLAs, triage, escalation), and produce clear user-facing guides
- Own vendor relationships for devices, parts, and services; negotiate quotes and coordinate onsite work
- Track inventory, licenses, and lifecycle (procurement to decommissioning) with accurate asset records
