Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and five to fifteen years of related experience, along with a Professional Engineer (PE) license. They should have experience with hydraulic modeling and GIS, including proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and/or SWMM software, and demonstrate excellent technical writing, organizational, and communication skills.
The Senior Hydraulic Engineer will provide hydrologic and hydraulic technical support for various wet weather projects, including combined/sanitary sewer overflow, collection systems, pump stations, water, stormwater, green infrastructure, and hydrologic and hydraulic models. Responsibilities include evaluating collection systems, managing tasks and projects, mentoring staff, performing model calibrations, developing flow monitoring programs, conducting GIS analysis, preparing engineering calculations, developing wet weather control alternatives, overseeing technical reports, assisting with proposals, monitoring project budgets and progress, conducting on-site inspections, preparing project status reports, and assisting Project Managers. They will also attend client meetings and maintain excellent client relations while ensuring a safe working environment.
