Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, with a four-year program, and at least five years of experience in the steel fabrication industry. They must have knowledge of AISC, AWS, ASTM, and OSHA requirements, along with effective communication skills, strong customer orientation, and the ability to interpret various instructions. Exceptional organizational skills, the capacity to write reports, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Google Suite are also required.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will manage customer projects by interacting with internal departments and providing external customers with information and support. They will provide operational direction and guidance to departments regarding bridge product production, ensuring compliance with corporate objectives. Essential duties include developing customer relationships, coordinating with drafting and engineering teams, reviewing purchase orders and contracts, maintaining records of customer communications, and following up on claims. The role also involves reviewing change orders, researching accounting issues, preparing reports, and attending job site meetings, all while working with customers to minimize cost impacts and resolve claims.
