A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, along with 2+ years in food manufacturing and prior supervisory experience. HACCP certification is preferred, with broad knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP, and SSOPs required.
This is an on-site position located in Danville, VA on the 2nd shift.
Standard computer skills are required, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Note, and Skype), Plant View, SAP, and other Tyson mandatory operating programs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, with the ability to correspond effectively with all levels from line team members to corporate management.
The role includes selecting, training, and managing FSQA Supervisors and FSQA Technicians, as well as managing crewing, labor, and attendance for the 2nd shift FSQA team.
