Requirements

Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience in tax and compliance, with a CPA certification being preferred but not required. Experience with tax provision and compliance tasks, including federal, state, and international tax for partnerships and corporations, is necessary. Familiarity with sales and use tax compliance processes, international statutory filings, and business license/annual report compliance is also required. Experience managing a team and working with accounting teams on tax accounting routines and reconciliations is expected.

Responsibilities

The Manager, Tax & Compliance will collaborate with third-party providers on tax provision and compliance, manage sales and use tax processes, and support international statutory filings. They will lead the PMO for timely filing of tax returns and payments in various jurisdictions, and work with regional finance leads to understand global tax provision status. Responsibilities include managing business license and annual report compliance, leading a small team, maintaining tax compliance calendars, managing withholding tax processes, preparing tax forms, managing tax accounting routines, supporting new tax policy implementation, assisting with global transfer pricing, and preparing tangible personal property tax returns. The role also involves providing support on special tax projects like audits and tax notices.
