Requirements

2+ years of experience leading and developing a team of field technicians
Prior experience with field work in construction, security systems, low voltage wiring, or similar
Experience in product development preferred
Outstanding project management and communication (written, verbal) skills
Experience with IP camera troubleshooting and debugging Android-based devices
Handyman-like experience
Must be 21+ in order to rent a vehicle from preferred providers

Responsibilities

Own product transition process from Engineering development to scaled operations
Be a coach and provide performance management to further the development of direct reports
Provide support to direct reports in the field and own the outcomes
Identify issues with new products that could impact Operations and present potential solutions to cross-functional stakeholders
Have a business mindset when managing team capacity and labor, including time cards and expense management
Monitor and document the status of work in the field and in the lab
Proficiency with assembly, mounting, and troubleshooting of license-plate reading cameras, video cameras, audio devices, and DFR systems
Field Service skills including working on public and private roads, often on equipment 10-12’ high and on roofs
Perform work in a safe and professional manner
Communicate effectively with both internal teams and customers
Project coordination between end users and deployment teams
Meet with customers to discuss installation options and perform site surveys
