Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
4+ years’ experience in Finance and Accounting
2+ years’ plant controller/cost in manufacturing environment
Preferred: MBA, CPA, CMA and Green or Black Belt designation
Preferred: Demonstrated ability to lead/drive financial performance
Preferred: TPM/Lean/Six Sigma knowledge
Preferred: Solid understanding of accounting concepts and practices
Preferred: Demonstrated history of process improvement and critical thinking
Preferred: Strong numerical aptitude, analytical and problem solving skills
Preferred: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
Preferred: Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines
Preferred: Skilled communicator, both verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

Manages all accounting procedures related to month end close process, such as accruals, journal entry preparation, variance analysis
Provides operational support with capital equipment authorization, asset management and inventory control (cycle count process)
Prepares monthly plant forecast
Assures policies are being followed in accordance with SOX, GAAP and Corporate Policy
Recommends improvements and helps guide the plant / supply chain through change while positively influencing others
Prepares and analyzes financial reports including providing financial information for all plant departments
Engages operation team during audit function to assure policies are being followed; recommends improvements and drive changes
Participates in the annual budget process, calculates and updates plant overhead rates and insures overall integrity of plant budget
Financial representative on TPM projects
