Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field, and ideally, have a Master’s degree, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in field service engineering, specifically with medical devices or similar complex equipment. Strong technical skills and experience with equipment installation, maintenance, and repair are essential, as is the ability to interpret technical documentation and regulatory requirements.
The Senior Field Service Engineer will conduct site evaluations, installations, inspections, and preventative/corrective maintenance on Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) equipment, ensuring successful equipment implementation. They will maintain and submit technical records according to regulatory standards, contribute to the technical knowledge base, and disseminate product knowledge to internal teams. Furthermore, the role involves participating in service process improvements, developing and updating service documentation, facilitating technical training for distributors and partners, and contributing to the smooth transition of new products to commercial launch.
