Candidates must possess a BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years of work-related experience in the high-tech electronics industry, particularly in system design or technical customer support roles, is required. The ideal candidate will have experience with ARM and NVIDIA GPU development, proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming, knowledge of Embedded Linux Systems, APIs, and similar embedded OS, experience working with OEMs in industrial, military, and ruggedized computing spaces, and an in-depth understanding of CPU architecture. Strong analytical, problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills are essential, along with excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Local candidates in Guadalajara are strongly preferred.
The Senior Field Applications Engineer will act as a technical specialist for GPU and networking products, supporting sales to secure design wins by establishing and nurturing technical relationships with customer engineers, management, and architects. Responsibilities include identifying customer architectures and product requirements to implement NVIDIA's solutions, frequent on-site travel to diagnose and resolve hardware and software challenges, and leading products through their entire lifecycle from design-in to end-of-life. The role also involves developing technical solutions with hardware & software demos and example system designs, offering technical and sales training to sales teams and channel partners, and establishing communication channels with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
