Candidates must possess a BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience, along with 6+ years of relevant work experience in the high-tech electronics industry in a system design or technical customer support role. Required knowledge includes servers, storage systems, network devices, and other data center hardware, with strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, time-management, and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include in-depth enterprise server design knowledge, experience with large-scale datacenter rollouts, familiarity with PCIe, Platform management, Infiniband, and Ethernet, embedded Linux system and API knowledge, and experience working with OEMs in the enterprise compute, AI, and HPC sectors.
The Senior Field Application Engineer will serve as a technical specialist for datacenter products, providing direct support to partner engineering groups and sales account managers to deliver AI datacenter solutions. Responsibilities include solving complex hardware design-in and deployment issues, offering onsite support for system design-in engagements, establishing technical relationships with customer engineers, management, and architects, and providing technical support for enterprise deployments. The role also involves delivering technical and sales training to sales teams and channel partners, and fostering strong communication with internal teams.
