Candidates should possess a BS or MS degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience, along with over 5 years of relevant work experience in the high-tech electronics industry, specifically in system design or technical customer support. Experience with ARM and NVIDIA GPU development, proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming, knowledge of Embedded Linux Systems, APIs, and similar embedded OS, experience with OEMs in industrial, military, and ruggedized computing, and an in-depth understanding of CPU architecture are advantageous. The role requires the ability to excel in a dynamic environment, manage multiple initiatives, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate excellent time-management and organizational abilities, as well as strong written and oral communication skills in English.
The Senior Field Applications Engineer will act as a technical specialist for GPU and networking products, supporting sales account managers to achieve design wins and establishing technical relationships with key customer accounts. Responsibilities include identifying customer architectures and product requirements to implement NVIDIA's solutions, frequent on-site travel to resolve hardware and software challenges, and leading products through their entire lifecycle. The role also involves developing technical solutions, creating hardware and software demos, providing technical and sales training to internal teams and partners, and establishing strong communication channels with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
