As a Senior Field Activation Specialist within Gilead's HIV Prevention team, you will be responsible for representing Gilead's products and services to a designated customer base. Your primary focus will be on increasing awareness of HIV prevention, activating healthcare practitioners (HCPs) and key accounts, and dismantling barriers to HIV prevention within your assigned geographic territory. This role requires advocacy, open communication about sexual health, and a thorough account management approach through in-person interactions, meetings, and strategic partnerships.

You will be expected to quickly establish working relationships with healthcare providers, engage them effectively, and deliver timely information on disease awareness, clinical updates, and healthcare changes. A key requirement is the ability to simplify complex clinical concepts into clear, understandable messages for diverse audiences. Success in this role is contingent upon strong presentation and communication skills, along with a proven ability to interact effectively with healthcare professionals.

This unique opportunity covers the North Palm Beach/Orlando territory, encompassing Orlando down to the northern border of Fort Lauderdale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management & Market Expansion Strategy:
    • Cultivate strong relationships with healthcare providers through various interactions, fostering open dialogue to understand their perspectives and behaviors regarding HIV prevention and to maximize the impact of Gilead's products.
    • Create and implement a detailed territory business plan designed to meet customer needs and achieve activation objectives. Continuously track activation progress and customer journey movement, adapting strategies as needed to meet or surpass targets.
  • Product & Disease State Expertise:
    • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Gilead's products, competitor products, and the intricacies of the therapeutic area's disease state.
    • Actively promote HIV prevention in general, and the appropriate use of Gilead products specifically, to healthcare professionals, ensuring adherence to Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines.
