The Field Education Manager will be responsible for developing and managing all product and sales training strategies for the Conduction System Pacing (CSP) portfolio. This includes content development, new hire training, new product launches, and ongoing national education. This role requires close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional teams to implement revenue-generating initiatives aligned with strategic objectives and business needs, informed by customer and field feedback. The Field Education Manager will serve as the division's expert on conduction system pacing in customer-facing interactions, educational initiatives, and technical support, significantly impacting the design, development, and marketing strategies of CSP solutions.

Requirements

  • SME in Conduction System Pacing: Must possess deep expertise in conduction system pacing to represent the division effectively.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to partner with commercial teams and key business functions including Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Clinical, Medical, HR, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance.
  • Customer and Field Feedback Integration: Skill in interpreting field and internal needs to provide customer feedback and field needs to counterparts.
  • Market and Product Understanding: Thorough understanding of products in the marketplace, including competitive strategies.
  • Product Functionality Understanding: Deep understanding of product functionality, including competitive products, and ability to provide input on design iterations and improvements.
  • Customer Education Leadership: Provide leadership and expertise in all customer education initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Project Leadership: Participate in and lead strategic projects to meet the needs of the field sales team, collaborating with Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory, IT, Sales Operations, and Commercial Services. This includes new product launches, marketing directives, new indication launches, and positioning directives.
  • Sales Training Curriculum Management: Manage, design, and deliver sales training curriculum for all new hires, focusing on product knowledge, consultative selling skills, and market dynamics.
  • Continuing Education Development: Develop and design continuing sales education, competitive marketing insights, and marketing campaign materials for the diagnostic division, delivering them nationally and internationally.
  • Training Program Implementation: Lead, develop, and implement effective training programs to ensure field team members are proficient in clinical data, promotional messaging, marketing, business acumen, selling skills, and account management.
  • SME Support: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in cross-divisional collaborations, seamlessly translating field and internal needs into solutions.
  • Cross-functional Input Integration: Partner with commercial teams and key business functions to integrate cross-functional input into training program content and delivery.
  • Ongoing National Education: Provide ongoing education at the national level to address obstacles and support rolled-out initiatives. Support regional meetings as the SME.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with marketing team members to understand products and competitive strategies, and provide input on tactical marketing implementation.
  • Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with engineering team members to understand product functionality and competitive products, and provide input on design iterations and improvements.
  • Customer Education: Provide leadership and expertise in customer education, including for EP, NPs, PAs, AHPs, and surgical technicians.
