Position Overview

Workday Inc is seeking a Federal Program Manager to join our team and support our growing Federal business. As a change agent, you will collaborate with executive leadership, program sponsors, business leads, and technology teams to drive the successful implementation of large-scale, cross-organization strategic programs aimed at enterprise growth in the Federal market and operational effectiveness.

About the Team

The Federal GTM team is a Strategic Growth area of Workday specializing in providing innovative technology solutions to the Federal government. Our products and services are designed to enhance efficiency, security, and compliance within government operations. We work closely with various federal agencies to deliver custom software applications, data analytics, cybersecurity solutions, and system integration services that meet the unique needs of government organizations. Our mission is to drive digital transformation and enable federal agencies to achieve their objectives through cutting-edge software solutions and exceptional customer support.

About You

We are looking for an experienced program manager who understands the federal and public sector space and the value of structure while balancing the need for agility and innovation within that framework. Leveraging transformation program management best practices, this role will lead the facilitation of business strategy definition, scope identification, cross functional design, timeline alignment and driving on time delivery of committed outcomes and deliverables.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• 7-10+ years of progressive, cross-organizational program management experience, with a preferred focus on highly visible, large-scale strategic federal and/or public sector initiatives.
• Track record of success in crafting, developing, and implementing new business, compliance, and delivery processes for software or SaaS companies entering the federal market.
• Proficiency in analytical thinking and the ability to make informed business decisions in complex scenarios, while optimally conveying ideas through various mediums.
• High attention to detail, process, and organization.
• Must have the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization, with a proven track record of influencing and working with executive leadership.
