Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in military exercise planning (joint/Service component preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Lead Wing and FE certification requirements
  • Experience developing and managing MSEL injects
  • Familiarity with AFFORGEN process and readiness assessment tools
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to brief senior leaders and coordinate across multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the design and execution of AFRC A7 exercises, ensuring alignment with USAF and AFFORGEN standards
  • Develop exercise scenario packages, including objectives, timelines, injects, evaluation criteria, and MSEL
  • Oversee and validate injects, ensuring quality and synchronization across the exercise
  • Attend and contribute to initial, mid, and final planning conferences, both in-person and virtually
  • Provide on-site support during execution as a controller, evaluator, role player, or data collector
  • Prepare and deliver daily SITREPs during execution
  • Support after-action reviews and deliver AARs, final leadership briefings, and Corrective Action Plans
