The ideal candidate will have demonstrable successful experience selling mid-upper/enterprise SaaS solutions and be a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. Proven ability to sell collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders and teams is essential, along with experience using tools like Salesforce CRM, Command of the Message, and MEDDPICC. Excellent communication, presentation, and closing skills are required, as are strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Candidates should be self-starters, team-oriented, possess a structured way of working, and have a good understanding of sales performance metrics with a strong sense of urgency. The ability to develop and understand complex business processes and embody a consultative approach is necessary. Comfort working both in the office and remotely, with up to 60% travel, is also required. Previous experience selling commerce solutions and a strong understanding of the digital commerce landscape are considered advantageous.
The Senior Enterprise Account Executive will be responsible for attaining linear bookings targets within an assigned territory Pod by creating, managing, and closing qualified net new and expansion pipeline in named accounts. This role involves collaborating with other Pod colleagues in a siloless manner to deliver business outcomes and owning relationships with commercetools’ GSI, SI, ISV, and infrastructure partners. The AE will consult and educate customers and partners on new approaches for building better commerce experiences. Key duties include approaching named accounts directly and co-selling with partners, communicating the value of commercetools' solutions to various personas, conducting discovery to identify pain points, developing strategic plans to meet bookings targets, and regularly updating Salesforce CRM with accurate sales information. The role also requires a coachable mindset to work with their Frontline Manager to achieve required outcomes.
