Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive, Acquisition to focus on prospecting and closing new business within the Swiss region. This role involves identifying, nurturing, and closing opportunities with new customers, managing sales forecasts, and tracking customer data. A consultative sales approach is emphasized, prioritizing understanding customer needs before presenting product details. The successful candidate will play a key role in articulating product value, supporting customers during the trial phase, and establishing strong relationships with the Growth team. A technical background and prior experience selling technical products are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to identify new customers.
  • Manage the entire sales process, including:
    • Prospecting
    • Sales meetings
    • Product demos
    • Proofs of concept
    • Proposal creation
    • Negotiations
  • Cultivate sales through both outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
  • Develop expertise in conveying the value of both Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise.
  • Maintain proficiency in managing the sales pipeline within Salesforce.
  • Handle quote creation, order processing, and address day-to-day customer requests.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Technology Sales.
  • Performance: Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment (top 10% performer).
  • Personality: Energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, and a tenacious team player.
  • Adaptability: Experience in high-velocity technology companies.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using Salesforce.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with open source technology is a significant advantage.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills across all channels (in-person, online, in writing) and the ability to build strong working relationships virtually and in person.
  • Sales Methodology: Experience with Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC is ideal.

Compensation: The OTE compensation range for this role in Switzerland is CHF 248,500 - CHF 288,500. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process.
