Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineering Manager, Data, you will define and drive the technical vision and strategies for your team across multiple domains, strategically partner with cross-functional counterparts including product engineering, applied science, and data science on strategy and execution, drive team execution against team-specific OKRs, lead and manage the team as a technical leader guiding complex decisions, hire, coach, and manage data engineers at all levels, build and evolve a high-performing culture of excellence, and work closely with other engineering leaders to improve Thumbtack’s engineering culture in a fast-paced growth environment.
