Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Science, or relevant STEM discipline
  • Deep domain knowledge of In-line inspection technologies
  • Extensive product development management experience & a track record of delivery of new product development projects
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical team of scientists and engineers
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting at executive management level
  • Excellent technical comprehension and an ability to analyze and solve problems
  • Experienced in influencing and gaining solutions in a cross-functional / matrix environment

Responsibilities

  • Research, technology and new product development, for a specific set of ILI platform, including:
  • Development of long term, Multi-Generational Technology Plans
  • Research & technology development activities
  • All new product development activities
  • To ensure the ongoing reliable performance of existing products and services, including:
  • All aspects of performance including reporting specification and mechanical and electronic & reliability
  • Managing the allocation of sustaining engineering resources to best meet business needs
  • To lead a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers
  • Engagement with ILI leadership & external stakeholders on ILI technology and product development
  • As part of the engineering leadership team, lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve the quality and efficiency of the engineering function
