The Senior Engineer requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, along with 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, and related frameworks. Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in designing and building microservices based distributed systems in a serverless environment, and 2+ years of experience with Active MQ, Kafka, or other JMS providers. Proficiency in data structures and algorithms, experience with various database technologies, and knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS services are also required.
The Senior Engineer will support and foster a quality-first, agile culture, design and develop functionalities to create new solutions on the platform, implement security measures and compliance standards, ensure the use of industry standards, and be responsible for implementation of new features and iterations of their project. They will also learn and understand all aspects of the framework and project deliverables, and strategically think and influence with technical and business acumen.
