Requirements

Candidates must possess over 10 years of experience in marketing or ad-tech, with at least 5 years managing Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering teams. They should have experience hiring, mentoring, and scaling technical teams, along with hands-on experience in digital advertising technologies like DSPs, SSPs, data activation, and measurement. Proficiency in SQL and delivering technical demos and presentations is required, as is the ability to identify client pain points and scope projects. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is necessary, and preferred qualifications include experience with platforms such as DMPs, CDPs, Ad Exchanges, or measurement tools, as well as familiarity with big data tools and web technologies. Approximately 25% travel is also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Director of Solutions Engineering will lead a team focused on pre-sales strategy and technical success for Experian's Curation product suite. Key responsibilities include growing a high-performing Solutions Engineering team, mentoring team members, and engaging directly with clients as a player-coach. They will translate complex technical concepts into clear business value, improve team workflows for scalable delivery, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales to align client needs with product capabilities. The role also involves influencing product strategy through client feedback and market insights, and promoting Curation solutions internally and externally to identify innovation and integration opportunities.
