OVERVIEW

The Senior Director of Field Sales will be responsible for building sales capabilities and executing a comprehensive sales strategy across the United States. Leading a team of approximately 25, this role will work in close collaboration with operations leaders to inform and shape tactics to impact sales. The primary goal of this role will be to execute and drive sales performance in brick and mortar locations, ensuring we meet and exceed our revenue and growth targets.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Collaborate across the organization to provide insights that will refine the sales strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends.
    • Translate the sales strategy into capabilities for store leaders and teammates to adopt and drive locally.
    • Identify and remove barriers to enable store execution.
    • Analyze the performance of these strategies and develop recommendations on appropriate follow-up actions.
    • Conduct post-mortem assessments after major selling seasons and events to improve performance for the next event/season.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead and mentor a team of sales directors and area managers, fostering a high-performance culture that influences store leaders to achieve sales targets.
    • Provide guidance, coaching, support, and development to the sales team.
    • Work with appropriate leaders to inform sales and capability training based on regular needs assessments.
  • Retail Operations & Analysis:
    • Oversee the implementation of the sales strategy across all retail locations, ensuring consistent and effective execution.
    • Deliver market-specific and operational tactics to support success.
    • Interact with store teams to analyze customer purchasing patterns and how store-specific performance is impacted.
    • Provide insights and perspectives on findings and recommend course of action based on results of field and customer analysis.
  • Structural Component Informing:
    • Inform the structural components that will fill gaps and enable the execution of a sales strategy. This includes but is not limited to training, role design, communication, marketing, and engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or other relevant discipline.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in Retail Sales and Customer Relations.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Targeted Pay Range: $153,700.00 - $285,300.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity, and benefits.
  • Pay Determination: Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensure competitive and equitable pay.
